A half marathon is 21+ km, did you know that? I'm glad I didn't, I would have quit!

1/11/16 I'll preface this by saying that I had great intentions when I signed up for this (and the Nago half marathon 1/24/16). I started a training plan, I stuck to it for the first half, etc.  somewhere along the way things fell off schedule. Then I had an unplanned trip to the US (and back to Japan) which resulted in severe jet lag. It also resulted in no running. This wasn't going to hit us directly, and from the sounds of the forecast it was all going to occur overnight, so I thought. I actually thought that I'd be able to get up and go for a run this morning. Ha! I woke up to something very different! First of all, this bitch has had me up since 2am...howling winds. Ever wonder how much Netflix you can watch? Ever had to convince Netflix that you were there and to "con...
