Bali Itinerary: My Favorite Things

1/6/18 I had a pretty packed itinerary, and if you choose to use the driver/company that I used they are more than willing to provide you with an itinerary. I customized mine because there were specific things that I wanted to see, but you can go into things blind and have a totally kick ass time. Buuuuut. There are a few places that I would say, absolutely DO NOT skip when you come to Bali. This was my Bali dream team. The elite, the all stars. The ones that stood out above all others. I hope this helps with vacation planning of your own! Also, they are NOT in any particular order! Bali Day 2: Art Market, Ubud Swing, Rice Terrace, Monkey Forest, and Tegenungan Waterfall

12/17/17 Today started off with a delicious breakfast cooked by the staff at my villa. I'm never leaving. I have someone who cooks me breakfast. I can also say things like "I live in a villa", so why would I leave?! I'm not going to lie, they could have served me meatloaf for breakfast and I would have eaten it with a smile after missing dinner last night thanks to my very extended nap (whoops!) After breakfast if was off to adventure. First stop was the Ubud Art Market. We stopped there early before all of the vendors were set up (and before all of the tourists got there). This also meant that I got the opportunity to see women bringing offerings to the temple. Nyoman told me that every 6 months (or 210 days) based on the Balinese calendar they do this type of offering at the temple. The offerings were very elaborate and contained mostly food. Women carried them on their heads, some in devices that looked like giant vases. It was absolutely beautiful. After ...
